4/25 Meeting

Today, we found out the Viswanathan's printer won't be able to print our cabin due to the required print time. Luckily, we still have 3 ready models (3D Hubs, Machine Shop, Yousseffi) and the remaining funds from the budget to utilize 3D Hubs for the additional prints of the backup models.

4/18 Meeting

No meeting today. Presentation in 189

However the Central Machine Shop was able to finish our second model print. Our third and final print is still in the process of printing from Professor Yousseffi. Future models will be made as backups in case any of these break and are going to be printed by Viswanathan's printer as soon as the printer is available.

4/11 Meeting

Since the successful completion of the first model, all there is left to do is to find a source to finish 2 more models for the track and backup models. Currently we have the Central Machine Shop and Professor Youssefi's model on the way with the backups projected to be made by Viswanathan's printer.

4/4 Meeting

Today the finished model was brought to the controls team to begin assembly. Feedback from the controls team will be taken after assembly and modifications will be made for future prints. At the moment, the model works well with all the controls. The printed model is likely not going to go into anymore iterations. Further printing will be done by the machine shop and viswanathan's personal printer.
